ARE PROTESTS IN THE SYSTEM OF THE MINISTRY OF INTERIOR INEVITABLE?

The proposed reforms in the Bulgarian Ministry of interior, which provoked discontent among the police trade unions, are well considered and necessary, the Deputy Minister of Interior. Tsvyatko Georgiev, told BNT on 1st of March.

The proposed amendments to the Interior Ministry Act envisage decrease in the annual paid leaves and structural changes, according to which Chief Directorate “Fire Safety and Civil Protection” will be restructured into an agency.

The trade unions of the MoI said they were preparing protests.
