BULGARIA’S JUNIOR EUROVISON SELECTION: 11 CANDIDATES GO THROUGH TO THE SECOND SEMI-FINAL

The first semi-final of Bulgaria’s Junior Eurovision 2016 selection process “The Children of Bulgaria are Super” is over. The show was broadcast live on BNT on 2nd of June.

The jury selected 11 children to proceed to the next show – the second semi-final, which will take place on 8th of June. The 11 candidates will compete for one of the five places at the Grand Final, which will be held on 11th of June.

At the second semi-final, the participants will perform songs at their choice. The jury will again have the full power to decide who will proceed to the final.

The winner and the Bulgarian representative at Junior Eurovision 2016 will be decided by a 50-50 mix of the votes of the professional jury and televoting at the final.

The show will reveal the Bulgarian representative. The song will be composed by the winner along with professional composers selected by BNT. The song presentation will take place on a TV show by the end of September.
