Bulgaria’s contestant in Eurovison 2020 Victoria Georgieva will sing in Madrid

Bulgaria’s representative in Eurovision 2020, Victoria Georgieva – VICTORIA, will take part in one of the promotional concerts that take place before Eurovision 2020. The Bulgarian contestant joins the colourful performance in the Spanish capital Madrid, which will be held from 10 to 11 April in the concert La Riviera Hall. Bulgaria’s previous representative in Eurovision 2016, Poli Genova, will also be part of the colourful Spanish fiesta.

On the first day, participants from all countries will attend an official gala evening and have the opportunity to meet representatives of the largest media in the country. There is also a special opening concert featuring former contestants. Polly Genova, who made Bulgaria famous for her fourth place at Eurovision 2016 with the song "If Love Was A Crime" will take part in it.

The second and main concert evening will be dedicated to this year's participants, including Bulagria’s representative - Victoria Georgieva. The organizers of the event promise an attractive programme and a great atmosphere.

Fans in Spain represent one of the most organized communities and are often identified as the most entertaining and emotional spectators of Eurovision. It is a curious fact that they are also one of the biggest supporters of Bulgaria and Bulgarian representatives over the years, with Spain being one of the countries that usually highly appreciates the Bulgarian participants. The announcement of the Bulgarian representative as part of the concert gathered almost 7,000 reactions on social media in the first hour only, which according to the organizers is one of the best achievements since the beginning of the event in 2017.

Victoria is currently in London working with composers from Bulgaria and Europe. This is the last music camp to finalise the work and the search for the Bulgarian song for Eurovision 2020. the music video is to be filmed In February,and the song premiere is expected in March.

Eurovision 2020 will be held on May 12, 14 and 16 in Rotterdam. The show will be broadcast live on BNT 1 from 10pm. On January 28, semi-final allocation draw will show which semifinal Bulgaria will take part in.
