Burglars stole money from a post office in Svetovrachene

Masked armed men robbed the post office in the village of Svetovrachene near Sofia. The three perpetrators broke in the building in the morning on 9^th of July when elderly people were waiting for their pensions.

They then went into the salon, broke the burglar-proof grill with a metal lever, and entered the room where the cashier was.

The cashier has been wounded. She was taken to a hospital in Sofia. There is not risk for her life.

Eyewitnesses said the burglars were armed with batons and a gun.

Panic button alerted the security officers.

The stolen amount was 3,000 BGN. The perpetrators are wanted. According to a security officer, a security camera has recorded the perpetrators white getting into a white car. Their identity is still not known. Investigation is currently under way.
