FORMER HEAD OF STATE FUND AGRICULTURE, MIROSLAV NIKOLOV, ACCUSED OF DELIBERATE MISMANAGEMENT

Bulgaria’s Prosecutor’s office accused a former Executive Director of State Fund "Agriculture", Miroslav Nikolov, of deliberate mismanagement. According to the state prosecution, in 2014 Nikolov concluded a contract for consultancy services in the field of public relations and public communications with a company for almost 20,000 BGN. Meanwhile, State Fund "Agriculture" had a directorate and officials responsible for public relations. And although the contract was not fulfilled, Nikolov ordered the payment on it to be made.
