Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov accepts the invitation of President Rumen Radev for talks, the press office of the Council of Ministers announced on 16th of November. Prime Minister Borissov voiced hope that by the time of the meeting, the head of state will get acquainted with the four-year cabinet governance programme, as well as with the European Commission's latest report under the Cooperation and Verification Mechanism, so that they can discuss them together.
Borissov was in Thessaloniki for the Third Summit on the European perspective, connectivity and cooperation with the Western Balkans.
The Thessaloniki-Kavala-Alexandroupolis-Bourgas-Varna-Rousse-Thessaloniki railway link, which will connect the Bulgarian and Greek ports, was discussed at a meeting with the Transport Minister of Greece. The interconnector gas connection and the liquefied gas terminal in Alexandroupolis were discussed at the meeting of Prime Minister Borissov with representatives of gas companies working in Greece.
