Prosecutor’s Office Launched Investigation into the National Electricity Company

Bulgaria’s Prosecutor’s office launched an investigation into the state-owned National Electricity Company on 26th of April. Around 10.30 am.m, five prosecutors entered the building of the company to start a check because of initiated pre-trial proceedings for alleged intentional mismanagement. The check was undertaken as a result of an alert for alleged payments to external experts under consultancy contracts, provided the company had its own experts.
