15 detained in police and gendarmerie operation in Blagoevgrad

Specialized police operation targeting household crimes takes place in the city of Blagoevgrad on February 20.

Some 15 people were detained. The chief prosecutor commented that in comparison with inspections in other places of the country, Blagoevgrad was at a very good level.

Police and gendarmerie teams are deployed in all main boulevards, at the exits and entries of the city.

The operation targets illegal possession of drugs, tobacco products and crimes against households.
