15 KM LONG QUEUE OF LORRIES AT KAPITAN ANDREEVO BORDER CROSSING

15 km long queue of TIR lorries has formed at Kapitan Andreevo check point at Bulgaria’s border with Turkey, drivers waiting to cross the border said on 15th of December.

They say they have to wait 4-5 days to cross the border. The queue is on both sides of the border, but waiting time is less on the Turkish side as documents get processed quicker.

The drivers say they were ready to stage a protest before the holidays.
