21st day of protests: Nationwide protest scheduled for Wednesday to take down government
The nationwide protest is to start at 7.00 pm with its place again the square at the Triangle of Power in the heart of the capital Sofia. Large groups of people from all over the country are expected to take part. The appeal to the indignant is to take enough blankets, clothes and tents with them and be ready to stay long in front of the government headquarters.
Protests in Bulgaria entered their 21st day. There were some minor street scuffles last night around the University building as a protester was slightly injured on the foot by a car. Protests as a whole, remain peaceful.
Organizers are committed to continue with the unrest despite the recent cabinet reshuffle and the latest government plan for social and economic support. Protesters demand PM Borissov’s and Prosecutor-General Geshev’s resignation as a first step to change corrupt governmental practices.
