6 or 7 political parties will enter Bulgaria’s next Parliament, polls
Six or seven political parties will enter the next Parliament, according to a survey by Exacta Research Group, the results of which were released on July 8.
It was conducted between July 1-5, among 1,005 adult Bulgarians across the country.
Former PM Boyko Borissov’s GERB- UDF coalition has 21.4% of the support.
TV presenter Slavi Trifonov’s party “There is such a People” has 20.8%.
The polls predict the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) will be in third place with 15.8% of the votes.
“Democratic Bulgaria” will get 12.8% of the support. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms will have 11.2%.
"Rise up! Thugs out!" (led by former ombudsperson, Maya Manolova) is predicted to receive 4,8% of the support.
The “Bulgarian Patriots” coalition of IMRO, the National Front for the Salvation of Bulgaria and Volya, will have 4%.
Just below the 4% threshold to win seats in the 46th National Assembly is the “Vuzrazhdane” party, “Bulgarian Summer” civic platform and other parties and coalitions.

Bulgarians will be going to the polls on July 11 after the three biggest political powers elected in the April 4 regular parliamentary elections failed to form a government.
