Air ambulance helicopter will get from Veliko Turnovo to Sofia in 40 minutes

Тhe helipad for air ambulances was officially opened at “Dr. Stefan Cherkezov” Hospital in Veliko Turnovo on April 15.

120 000 BGN were provided by the Ministry of Health for the reconstruction of the old helipad in this hospital.

It will take about 40 minutes for the air ambulance to travel from Sofia to Veliko Turnovo. Yesterday, after a break of about 30 years, a medical helicopter flew out of it again, because tests were made on the renovated facility.
