April 2 snap elections: First exit polls by "Gallup" at 20.00 - WCC-DB - 25.6%, GERB-UDF - 24.8%, TISP on the borderline of the 4% electoral threshold
First exit polls by "Gallup" polling agency, show contested first place by “We Continue the Change”-"Democraic Bulgaria" and GERB-UDF in the April 2 general elections.
The results of the exit polls are as follows:
- “We Continue the Change” – “Democratic Bulgaria” (WCC-DB) - 25.6%
GERB-UDF - 24.8%
Movement for Rights and Freedoms (MRF) - 13.0%
Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP)- 10.0%
“There is Such a People” - 4.0%
The parties under the 4% electoral threshold:
- “Bulgaria Ascending” - 2.8%
- “The Left” - 2.2%
- "National Movement for Stability and Progress" (NDSV) - 0.4%
3.8% of the voters marked “I do not support anyone” option on the ballot.
Voter turnout was 37.4%.
The allocation of seats in the next Parliament is as follows:
- "We Continue the Change"- “Democratic Bulgaria” – 67
- GERB-UDF – 65
- "Vazrazhdane" – 37
- Movement for Rights and Freedoms - 34
- Bulgarian Socialist Party – 26
- There is Such a People - 11
