BULGARIA’S CENTRAL BANK GOVERNOR: BANKING SYSTEM IN BULGARIA IS STABLE

On 11th of August, the Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank (BNB), Dimitar Radev, received the results from the stress tests of the banks in Bulgaria, summerised by the international consulting firm Deloitte.

According to the BNB Governor, the results show that the banking system in Bulgaria is stable, the capital adequacy is well above the minimum official requirements and no bank needs support from the state budget.

BNB will present more detailed results on Saturday, 13th of August.
