EU leaders discussed coronavirus measures in a video conference organized by European Council President Charles Michel on March 10.
The videoconference also included European Commission President Ursula von der Layen and European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde.
The aim was to exchange information from European leaders about the spread of COVID-19, the availability of medicines and protective materials, and the development of vaccines. They also discussed the economic impact of the epidemic.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borissov also participated in the video call. Earlier today, he said that Bulgaria would ask for € 130 million from Brussels to equip police officers in the event of a severe migration crisis.
