Bulgaria's Parliament Speaker visits Vietnam

The official visit of the Speaker of Bulgaria's Parliament, Rossen Zhelyazkov, to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam has started. The visit is at the invitation of the Speaker of the National Assembly of Vietnam, Vuong Dinh Hue.

The parliamentary delegation, led by the Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament, was welcomed at the airport by Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly Do Hoang Long; Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee, Vu Hai Ha and Chairman of the Friendship Group with Bulgaria in the Vietnamese Parliament, Don Tuan Phong.

Parliament’s Speaker Rossen Zhelyazkov thanked for the warm welcome and stressed that the visit of the Bulgarian delegation is an expression of the country's desire to strengthen the traditional friendly relations with Vietnam towards building a strategic partnership in the spirit of the 2013 Joint Declaration. The Speaker of the Bulgarian Parliament also expressed his satisfaction with the fruitful visit of the President of the National Assembly of Vietnam to Bulgaria in September 2023.

Vietnamese parliamentarians expressed their satisfaction with the arrival of Rosen Zhelyazkov and the representative delegation led by him from the Bulgarian Parliament in the capital Hanoi.

They recalled that in September 2023, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Vuong Dinh Hue, paid an official visit to Bulgaria and these two visits are another eloquent proof of the willingness of the two countries to develop an active political dialogue.
