The Bulgarian government and the parliamentary majority are working steadfastly to provide the maximum possible political, military, diplomatic, humanitarian and material support to Ukraine.

Bulgaria is discussing signing a bilateral security agreement, but first there must be an approval by Parliament, Denkov said after the meeting with Zelensky.

Bulgaria is also one of the co-founding countries of an international coalition to combat the deportation of Ukrainian children to Russian territory, the PM said.

The Ukrainian president thanked Bulgaria for its support and stressed that the EU had delivered only 30 out of 100 of the promised 1 million munitions that were to be delivered.

The Prime Minister gave Zelensky a replica of the sword of Khan Kubrat and told about the covenant to his three sons that if they are together, like a bundle of sticks, they will not be defeated.

On today's date Ukraine marks another sombre anniversary. Ten years ago, Russia's illegal annexation of Crimea and Sevastopol marked the beginning of Russia's continuous aggression against Ukraine and opened the way to its full-scale invasion on 24 February 2022.
