Bulgaria marks World Blood Donor Day with blood donation initiatives

June 14 is the World Blood Donor Day.

Statistics show that voluntary blood donations in Bulgaria have increased by a little over 8% compared to last year, but along with that, the practice of blood trafficking is increasing.

On the occasion of World Voluntary and Unpaid Blood Donor Day, a number of blood donation initiatives will be held across the country by the end of the month.
