Bulgaria Second in 2017 Eurovision Song Contest (video)

Bulgaria's representative Kristian Kostov performing the song "Beautiful Mess" reached 2^nd place in the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest that took place in Kyiv, Ukraine on 13th of May.

Portugal, for the first time ever, won the contest with Salvador Sobral’s ballad "Amar Pelos Dois".

This is Bulgaria's best result at Eurovision so far. Bulgaria reached the Eurovision final twice before: back in 2007 with Elitsa Todorova and Stoyan Yankulov and their entry Water, when they took 5th place and in 2016, when Poli Genova performing the song If Love Was a Crime, was voted into 4th place at the Grand Final of the 61st edition of Eurovision in Stockholm, Sweden
