On November 21, Bulgaria holds second round of presidential elections after none of the candidates in the first round gained more than half of the votes. According to the law, a candidate should receive 51% of the votes to become President.

Incumbent Head of State, Rumen Radev, who won 49.41% of the vote in the firsts and Anastas Gerdzhikov, who won 22.82%, are the two candidates who continue to the second round.

Voting will be with machines. Paper ballots will be used in polling stations with less than 300 voters.

Polling stations open at 7.00 o’clock and close at 20.00. If there are queues of waiting voters outside, voting can be extended until 21.00.

Nearly 6,700,000 people are eligible to vote.

Voting will take place in more than 13,000 polling stations across the country. The polling stations abroad are 749.
