Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov arrives in Bucharest

The Bulgarian Prime Minister Kiril Petkov arrived in the Romanian capital Bucharest today. He was welcomed by his Romanian colleague, Nicolae Ciucă.

The press center of the Cabinet released footage from the signing of the Agreement between the government of the Bulgarian Republic and the government of Romania for the opening of a border crossing point Rousse – Gyurgevo by ferry on the Bulgarian-Romanian frontier.

During the conversations the Prime Minister will have in Bucharest emphasis will be put on the development of bilateral relations, regional cooperation, the fulfillment of the infrastructure and energy projects, which will be beneficial for the connection and safety of the region, especially in the context of the war in Ukraine.

The Deputy-Prime Ministers Assen Vassilev and Borislav Sandov, the Minister of Defence Dragomir Zakov, the Minister of Energy Aleksandar Nikolov and the Deputy Minister of Transport and Communications Vladimir Varbanov are part of the delegation as well.
