Bulgarian rescuer awarded by President Erdogan for the help after the earthquakes in Turkey
At a special ceremony at the presidential palace in Ankara on April 25, President Recep Erdogan rewarded representatives of foreign teams who took part in rescue operations after the severe earthquakes in February.
Inspector Petar Petrov, Head of the Specialised Operations Sector at the Regional Directorate for Fire Safety and Population Protection - Plovdiv, was awarded.
The ceremony was attended by the caretaker Minister of Interior Ivan Demerdzhiev and the Bulgarian Ambassador to Turkey Angel Cholakov.
