Bulgarian rescuers have pulled out a 4-year-old child and a man alive from under the rubble in the earthquake disaster area in Türkiye
Two lives were saved in a joint operation between the Bulgarian search and rescue workers and local teams on February 9. The Bulgarian team appeared on the right place at the right time for a 4 year old child and an elderly man. The rescued people were handed over to medical teams.
Doctor Veselin Yolov, an employee of the Ministry of Interior Medical Institute, who is part of the Bulgarian team in Türkiye, had the difficult task of assisting and directly participating in a complex surgical and life-saving intervention.
Thanks to his actions, an injured man was given a second chance to life.
