Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission starts accepting documents for registration of parties and coalitions for April 2 snap elections

Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission on February 8 started accepting documents for registration of parties and coalitions to participate in the early parliamentary elections scheduled for 2 April, 2022

The deadline for registration is by 17.00 on 15 February.

Parties and coalitions are required to submit a number of documents, including a minimum of 2,500 signatures from people over the age of 18. They are also required to pay a deposit of 2,500 BGN. They must also submit certified financial statements of the political formations.
