Bulgaria’s coronavirus task force stops operating as of today

The current National Operational Headquarters against Covid-19 (coronavirus task force) has stopped operating as of today, April 15. The task force was established by order of Prime Minister Boyko Borissov at the beginning of the pandemic in February 2020.

It aimed to organize and coordinate the actions of the competent state authorities in connection with the public health emergency of international importance declared by the World Health Organization regarding the disease COVID-19.
