BULGARIA’S GRIGOR DIMITROV REACHES AUSTRALIAN OPEN QUARTERFINALS

The highest ranking Bulgarian tennis player Grigor Dimitrov is through to his second Australian Open quarterfinal after a four-set win over Denis Istomin on 23rd of January.

Dimitrov beat Istomin 2-6, 7-6, 6-2, 6-1 days after the Uzbek player beat six-time champion Novak Djokovic in the second round.

He closed out the match in two hours and 24 minutes.

Dimitrov will next play 11th seed David Goffin in the quarter-finals.
