Bulgaria’s Parliament declares the Holodomor In Ukraine a genocide

Bulgaria’s National Assembly declared the Great Famine of 1932 and 1933 In Ukraine (Holodomor) a genocide. The decision was supported by the parliamentary groups of GERB-UDF, “We Continue the change”, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms, "Democratic Bulgaria".

“Vazrazhdane” parliamentary group voted against. MPs from Bulgarian Socialist Party were not in chamber. A total of two MPs from the "Bulgaria Ascending" voted - one in favour and one against.
