Bulgaria’s PM extends condolences after the earthquake in the Aegean Sea
Bulgaria’s Prime Minister Boyko Borissov offered his deepest condolences over the devastating earthquake that caused casualties and damages in Greece and Turkey on October 30.
Prime Minister Borissov held a telephone conversation with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
He also offered his condolences to the Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in a telephone conversation between representatives of the cabinets of the two leaders.
The PM expressed the Bulgarian solidarity with the peoples of Greece and Turkey at this tragic moment. He stressed the readiness of Bulgaria to provide support for the overcoming of the consequences of the earthquake.
As neighbours, we have a duty to help each other in need. That is why we should respect each other and always maintain a dialogue, Prime Minister Boyko Borissov told Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The words of Prime Minister Borissov were also conveyed to Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
