Bulgaria’s President: Political parties should not allow their contradictions push the interest of the nation and the people into the background
The situation in the country requires the parties represented in Parliament not to allow the contradictions between them push the interests of the State and the Bulgarians into a background. Therefore, I expect both the government and the MPs, while deciding on their own political future, not to forget their great responsibility towards the people and the promises made to tackle inflation, the social and economic crisis. The trust in their political formations and the credibility of the political system in Bulgaria depend on their conduct and action on these issues, said President Rumen Radev on June 13.
He talked with reporters after taking part in an award ceremony for the finalists in the 22nd edition of the CodeIT programming competition.
Every year, more than 200 participants from Bulgaria and other countries around the world take part in the CodeIT programming competition, which was established in 2000. Most of them are school and university students, winners of national and international prizes in computer science competitions and Olympiads.
The event is held under the patronage of the Head of State.
