Bulgaria’s President Radev: Recognition of Donetsk and Luhansk dooms de-escalation efforts
The recognition of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic by the Russian Federation dooms the efforts for de-escalation of the conflict in Ukraine and leads to rising tension throughout the whole region, Bulgaria’s President Rumen Radev wrote on Twitter on February 22.
In a second post on the subject, the head of state added:
"A sustainable solution to this crisis cannot be found by violating international law and by military means."
