Burgas port closed due to strong winds
The Bulgarian Black Sea port of Burgas has been temporarily closed due to strong south wind with a speed of 15 - 20 m/s, representatives of Vessel Traffic Services Authority – Black Sea reported on February 12. There is a ban on manoeuvring of small and large vessels.
The sea waves are about 1,25 to 2,00 m high. When weather conditions return to normal, the port will resume operations.
The National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology announced code yellow alert for strong winds today in Burgas region.
