Caretaker government dismissed all district governors

The caretaker cabinet held its first meeting on August 4. Caretaker Prime Minister, Galab Donev, said that he expects real actions with specific results from the established crisis management task force in the energy sector. A plan will be drawn up for the financial stabilisation of “Bulgargaz” to ensure gas supplies.

After the end of the meeting, Krum Zarkov, told journalists that all district governors had been dismissed and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, Ivan Demerdzhiev, would be in charge of the preparation the early elections on 2 October.
