Voter turnout at 11:00 in Bulgaria’s April 2 parliamentary elections was close to 9%, Central Election Commission’s deputy chair and spokesperson Rositsa Mateva told a briefing.
As at 11:30, there were 45 voting machines in the country that От галерия for some reason had not started working and voting there was switched to use of ballot papers.
Across the country, as well as in almost all polling stations abroad, except for a few in the US where voting has not started yet, polling stations are open and working normally.
Today, voting takes place in 12,905 polling stations, of which 302 are mobile and 224 are in hospitals and social service facilities. 24 are in detention facilities.
