Cleaning of riverbeds on the territory of Sofia municipality began

The cleaning of the riverbeds on the territory of Sofia Municipality has started.

224 sections are planned for cleaning, which is more than 110 kilometres of riverbeds in different sections.

So far, work has been carried out on 49 sections of the Perlovska, Vladaiska, Kakach, Suhodolska, Boyanska, Slatinska, Dragalevska and other rivers in Sofia.

This year BGN 1.8 million have been earmarked for cleaning riverbeds. One million leva will be allocated by the Interdepartmental Commission for Restoration and Assistance.

By the end of November the cleaning is scheduled, the emergency cleaning is permanent.
