Coalition Council meets to discuss military aid to Ukraine
The parties of the ruling coalition on May 3 meet to decide on military aid to Ukraine.
The issue is important because the Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) is threatening to leave the government votes for military aid to Ukraine. The coalition council is meeting before the Parliament votes on the decision tomorrow.
There are three proposals for providing military aid - by "We Continue the Change", "Democratic Bulgaria" and the opposition GERB. 121 votes are needed to adopt one of the proposals to provide military-technical assistance to Ukraine.
Apart from the BSP, "Vazrazhdane" party is firmly against such a decision.
