Commander of Bulgarian Air Force was diagnosed with Covid-19, Defense Minister quarantined
The new commander of the Bulgarian Air Force, Major General Dimitar Petrov, was diagnosed with Covid-19 on Sunday, BNT sources learned.
He underwent a PCR test after feeling severely exhausted the day before, with a high temperature and loss of sense of smell.
The Minister of Defense Krassimir Karakachanov is under quarantine. His test is negative.
The Chief of Defense, Admiral Emil Eftimov, was also quarantined, although both of his tests were negative.
The Deputy Chief of Defense, Lieutenant General Tsanko Stoykov, is also in isolation.
The four of them attended a public event on October 16th on the holiday of the air forces, which was also attended by President Radev, and then they were together at Lozenets residence.
