Eighty three new cases of coronavirus were confirmed in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours from 1406 PCR tests, the national information systems said on June 9.
The districts where the latest cases were reported are as follows: Blagoevgrad – 2; Lovech – 1; Pazardzhik – 3; Pleven – 1; Razgrad – 3; Sliven – 1; Smolyan – 52; Sofia district – 4; Sofia – 14; Stara Zagora – 1; Shoumen – 1.
The total number of confirmed cases in the country is 2810.
The active cases are 1059.
1587 have recovered, 39 of them in the past 24 hours.
152 patients diagnosed with Covid-19 are in hospitals, 15 of them are in intensive care.
297 medical professionals have tested positive for the virus, with 3 new cases registered in Sofia over the past 24 hours.
The death toll has risen by four to 164. Those who died in the past 24 hours were a 60-year-old man, who also had diabetes, a 76-year-old man, who did not have underlying health conditions, a 61-year-old man with pneumonia and other illnesses, and a 73-year-old woman with heart disease. .
