Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,115 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,115 from 11,637 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 9.
570 were confirmed from PCR and 545 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 74; Bourgas - 129; Varna – 42; Veliko Turnovo – 14; Vidin – -; Vratsa - 31; Gabrovo – 15; Dobrich - 8; Kardzhali - 6; Kyustendil - 58; Lovech - 15; Montana - 13; Pazardzhik - 36; Pernik - 12; Pleven - 46; Plovdiv - 71; Razgrad - 7; Rousse - 20; Silistra - 17; Sliven - 57; Smolyan – 2; Sofia district - 25; Sofia city – 275; Stara Zagora - 32; Targovishte – 2; Haskovo - 25; Shoumen - 43; Yambol - 40.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 224,849.
The active cases are 21,374
Of the total, 3,057 patients are in hospitals, 274 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 804 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 194,055;
- 1,850 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 58,888;
- 89 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,420.
