Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,123 new cases from 2,787 PCR tests
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,123 from 2,787 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on November 23.
This means that a little more than 40% of the tested were positive.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 7; Bourgas - 133; Varna - 78; Veliko Turnovo - 40; Vidin – 35; Vratsa - 7; Gabrovo - - Dobrich - 16; Kardzhali - -; Kyustendil - 79; Lovech - 20; Montana - 10; Pazardzhik - 49; Pernik - 7; Pleven - 48; Plovdiv - 41; Razgrad - 5; Rousse - 1; Silistra - 1; Sliven - 63; Smolyan - 3; Sofia district - 42; Sofia city – 356; Stara Zagora - 5; Targovishte - 8; Haskovo - -; Shoumen - 7; Yambol - 62.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 121,820.
The active cases are 82,416.
Of the total, 6,350 patients are in hospitals, 408 of them being in intensive care.
The recoveries over the 24-hour period are 772. The total recoveries are 36,524.
60 Covid-19 related deaths were reported in the past 24 hours, thus bringing the death toll to 2,880.
