Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 116 new cases, 208 recoveries, 12 deaths

The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 116 out of 3667 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on August 11 shows.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 13512.

The active cases are 5073.

Of the total, 854 are in hospitals, 54 of them being in intensive care.

The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 208, thus bringing the total recoveries to 7980.

The medical professionals who tested positive for the virus are 755, including 4 doctors and 2 nurses over the past 24 hours.

Twelve Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 459.
