Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,212 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,212 from 13,228 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 10.

770 were confirmed from PCR and 442 from antigen tests.

The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:

Blagoevgrad - 59; Bourgas - 105; Varna – 56; Veliko Turnovo – 15; Vidin – -; Vratsa - 26; Gabrovo – 10; Dobrich - 2; Kardzhali - 13; Kyustendil - 48; Lovech - 12; Montana - 9; Pazardzhik - 70; Pernik - 23; Pleven - 65; Plovdiv - 113; Razgrad - 7; Rousse - 17; Silistra - 18; Sliven - 57; Smolyan – 6; Sofia district - 28; Sofia city – 313; Stara Zagora - 27; Targovishte – 1; Haskovo - 57; Shoumen - 34; Yambol - 21.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 226,061.

The active cases are 22,065

Of the total, 3,129 patients are in hospitals, 266 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

  • 459 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 194,514;
  • 3,540 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 62,428;
  • 62 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,482.
