Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 130 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 130 from 1,962 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 1.

62 of the latest cases were confirmed from PCR and 68 from antigen tests.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 218,748.

The active cases are 22,651.

Of the total, 2,866 patients are in hospitals, 264 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 1,449 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 187,052;
• 105 vaccinated, bringing the total vaccinations to date to 41,125;
• 17 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,045.
