Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,349 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,349 from 11,604 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 17.
873 were confirmed from PCR and 476 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 52; Bourgas - 158; Varna – 50; Veliko Turnovo – 13; Vidin – 4; Vratsa - 53; Gabrovo – 14; Dobrich - 19; Kardzhali - 11; Kyustendil - 47; Lovech - 10; Montana - 7; Pazardzhik - 40; Pernik - 31; Pleven – 59; Plovdiv - 129; Razgrad - 4; Rousse - 11; Silistra - 17; Sliven - 43; Smolyan – 13; Sofia district - 38; Sofia city – 353; Stara Zagora - 52; Targovishte – 2; Haskovo - 49; Shoumen - 41; Yambol - 29.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 232,096.
The active cases are 24,069.
Of the total, 3,513 patients are in hospitals, 284 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 748 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 198,324;
- 3,902 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 81,338;
- 32 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,703.
