Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,463 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,463 from 13,303 tests, data published on the National Information Portal on coronavirus shows on February 20.
992 were confirmed from PCR and 541 from antigen tests.
The latest cases were registered in the districts as follows:
Blagoevgrad - 57; Bourgas - 191; Varna – 81; Veliko Turnovo – 20; Vidin – 3; Vratsa - 61; Gabrovo – 17; Dobrich - 27; Kardzhali - 11; Kyustendil - 63; Lovech - 15; Montana - 6; Pazardzhik - 34; Pernik - 30; Pleven – 63; Plovdiv - 97; Razgrad - 9; Rousse - 29; Silistra - 16; Sliven - 45; Smolyan – 9; Sofia district - 45; Sofia city – 363; Stara Zagora - 38; Targovishte – 4; Haskovo - 56; Shoumen - 51; Yambol - 22.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 235,891.
The active cases are 26,092.
Of the total, 3,775 patients are in hospitals, 316 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
- 346 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 199,978;
- 13,754 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccine, bringing the total to date to 104,268;
- 35 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 9,821.
