Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 148 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 148 from 2,210 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on January 12, 2024.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the pandemic are 1,336,562.

The active cases are 6,575

Of the total, 348 patients are in hospitals, 37 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

• 107 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 1,291,283;

• 142 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to 4,725,205;

• 0 Covid-19 related deaths, bringing the total to 38,704;

Of the daily cases, 60,14% had not been vaccinated.

There were 14 new hospitalisations, of which 57,14% had not been vaccinated.
