Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 151 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 151 from 2,577 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 9.

Test positivity rate is less than 6%.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,159,301.

The active cases are 132,956.

Of the total, 737 patients are in hospitals, 78 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 138 recoveries;

· 75 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;

· 7 Covid-19 related deaths.

Of the daily cases, 66.23% had not been vaccinated.

Of those who died, 100,00% had not been vaccinated.

There were 23 new hospitalisations, of which 82,61% had not been vaccinated.
