Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 155 new cases, total since the start of the epidemic reach 18,216

The newly confirmed coronavirus cases in Bulgaria are 155 out of 4,312 PCR tests, data published on the National Information Portal on September 16 shows.

The latest cases were reported in the following districts: Blagoevgrad - 26; Bourgas – 9; Varna – 10; Veliko Turnovo – 3; Vratsa – 2; Gabrovo – 2; Dobrich – 2; Kardzhali – 6; Kyustndil – 2; Lovech – 1; Montana – 6; Pazardzhik – 4; Pernik – 2; Plovdiv – 19; Rousse – 4; Silistra – 2; Sofia district – 2; Sofia city – 27; Stara Zagora – 10; Shoumen – 3; Yambol – 10.

The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic is 18,216.

The active cases are 4,423.

Of the total, 734 are in hospitals, 46 of them being in intensive care.

Seven Covid-19 associated deaths were reported in the past 24 hours. The total of fatalities rose to 736.

The recoveries over the past 24 hours are 127. The total recoveries are 13,057.
