Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 16 new cases

The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 28 from 2,915 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on June 28.

3 were confirmed from PCR and 13 from rapid antigen tests.

The latest cases were reported in the following districts:

Bourgas - 2; Varna – 2; Vratsa – 1; Pazardzhik - 4; Pernik – 1; Plovdiv – 2; Sofia district – 2; Sofia city – 2.

The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 421,531.

The active cases are 9,379.

Of the total, 1,560 patients are in hospitals, 197 of them being in intensive care.

During the past 24 hours:

· 19 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 394,125

· 2,720 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 1,727,616

· 0 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 18,027.
