Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 1,635 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 1,635 from 14,948 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on May 6.
552 were confirmed from PCR and 1,083 from antigen tests.
The latest cases registered in the districts are as follows:
Blagoevgrad – 81; Bourgas - 50; Varna - 88; Veliko Turnovo – 78; Vidin – 18; Vratsa – 29; Gabrovo – 39; Dobrich – 33; Kardzhali - 19; Kyustendil - 31; Lovech - 55; Montana - 71; Pazardzhik - 25; Pernik - 23; Pleven – 37; Plovdiv - 189; Razgrad - 13; Rousse - 87; Silistra - 23; Sliven - 36; Smolyan – 24; Sofia district - 43; Sofia city – 305; Stara Zagora - 100; Targovishte - 22; Haskovo - 33; Shoumen – 53; Yambol - 30.
The total lab-confirmed positive cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 407,827.
The active cases are 46,159.
Of the total, 6,158 patients are in hospitals, 599 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
· 2,669 recoveries, bringing the total to date to 344,895;
· 32,482 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines, bringing the total to date to 877,124;
· 164 Covid-19 related deaths, thus bringing the death toll to date to 16,773.
