Coronavirus in Bulgaria: 166 new cases
The newly confirmed cases of coronavirus in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours are 166 from 5,349 tests, the daily report on the National Information Portal shows on January 17, 2023.
The total lab-confirmed cases in the country since the start of the epidemic are 1,294,318.
The active cases are 3,451.
Of the total, 354 patients are in hospitals, 50 of them being in intensive care.
During the past 24 hours:
• 500 recoveries;
• 193 administered doses of Covid-19 vaccines;
• 7 Covid-19 related deaths.
Of the daily cases, 62,65% had not been vaccinated.
5 out of the 7 who died, had not been vaccinated, which is 71,43%.
There were 57 new hospitalisations, of which 71,93% had not been vaccinated.
2,075,205 people have completed the primary vaccination course. Of these, 941,178 have received a booster dose, i.e. have been revaccinated, and 68,609 have received a booster dose of adapted vaccine.
